ACSL SAMO | Swappable Thermal Payload for SOTEN

The ACSL SAMO is an NDAA-compliant, swappable thermal payload purpose-built for the ACSL SOTEN drone. At its core is the ITAR-free Teledyne FLIR OEM Hadron™ 640R module, pairing a radiometric 640×512 Boson® thermal camera with a 64MP visible sensor for clear, context-rich imaging.

Recent upgrades include a powerful 20× zoom capability, with MSX® (Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging) compatibility coming soon. MSX technology overlays visible edge detail onto thermal imagery, delivering sharper definition and greater situational awareness in every mission.

Compact and rugged with IP54 protection, SAMO weighs just ~56 g and integrates seamlessly with the TAITEN controller and TAKEOFF ground station software, while SAMO’s one-touch mount makes payload swaps fast between missions, ensuring dependable performance in public safety, inspection, and field operations.
